@Vlog-hu8gb Trump was a liberal when we were still dangling by the last thread of social cohesion, where the liberal left and conservative right agreed about a lot of things, we just disagreed about the best way to achieve the goals we all wanted, like balancing freedom with safety, and what was the most appropriate form of taxation. Then the left lost their collective hive mind, and we can't even agree on what a woman is.

A lot of the people you think of as being "bewitched" by Trump are a lot more reasonable than you might think. It's just that we're constantly having to defend him against absolutely absurd accusations, it makes us seem like sycophants, when we're really just normal people with a sense of objectivity. It gets pretty exhausting bc I have plenty of criticisms of Trump, he's obviously not perfect. It's just that all the things the left accuses him of are completely outrageous and hyperbolic.

@myrealfakename6068 and there's also truth to what you're saying, there are definitely people who are a little cookoo for Trump. But I honestly don't think those people would be like that, or at least there wouldn't be so many of them, if it weren't for the completely insane and dishonest media coverage of him.

Yep. Same as they did with covid in 2020. There's a reason CNN took their death tracker down 3 seconds after Biden was announced as the winner.

It's incredibly disturbing how absolutely everyone knows this is a political witch hunt, and somewhere around half the country is fine with that.
