If I could talk to a primitive alien race, and give them one piece of advice, I would show them all about 90s culture and say "when you get here, please, for the love of God, stop there. It doesn't get better after that, it only gets worse."

It's not hopeless yet in your late 20s, you still have about 5% of age appropriate women that aren't bat shit insane. And about 5% of them are single. So it's not very hopeful, definitely closer to hopeless, but still not completely hopeless.

I think the problem is outsourcing emotional fulfillment to someone (or in this case, something) else. That should be something you find on your own, so when you find someone to share that with you compliment each other instead of being dependent on each other.

@WarLordXavier gambling is always about risk and reward, if it doesn't mean that much to you, then you do you, if you're fine being alone or just using ethots to get off when needed. That's all you. But if you think it's worth the risk, then you take it. Would you really be happy spending all your time and money on yourself, even when you're older? Hard to answer that now. But by the time you know an answer for sure, it might be too late.

@WarLordXavier suit yourself. But men who are willing to take bigger risks than you are always going to reap bigger rewards than you. Again, if you're fine with being alone, then good for you, don't bother. But if you think having a family and a legacy is important, then stop worrying about the risk and do something about yourself. Because there are a whole, whole, whole lot of young men who feel exactly like you. They're out of the game. You can put yourself back in the game and raise your odds significantly, if you're willing to take the risk. It's up to you.

@WarLordXavier whatever makes you happy. But it's not a roll of the dice, as I've already explained. Not every man has equal odds, and not every woman is the same either. Use your brain, look for warning signs. It's not like you have to just throw a dart and try to marry the closest woman it lands to, there is such a thing as using your own judgement and narrowing the field.

@WarLordXavier everyone who buys one lottery ticket has the same chances of winning. Not every man has the same chances with women, not by a long shot. If the overall odds of success are 1 in 100, that doesn't mean every single man has a 1 in 100 chance, a fat neck beard that lives with his mom has more like a 1 in 1,000 chance. A man with self respect and a stable life has more like a 1 in 10 chance. Do you want to sit on the internet and cry about it? Or do you want to be the guy with a 1 in 10 chance? One of those things is a productive use of your time. I'll let you guess.

@Mr.Peterschmidt yea all these doomers aren't doing themselves any favors by just crying about it on the internet and accepting defeat. I know shit sucks for young men today, I was single for a long time until recently. I'm not trying to just shrug it off like it's make believe problems, these are very real problems. But you can cry about it on the internet, or you can do something about it. These types I've been seeing in conservative circles are no better than the leftists who think it's the governments job to give them money and make sure their life is ok. It's pathetic.
