I don't think Ethan is as stupid as he pretends to be, I think he does the best he can to stay the mainstream course and get as many views as possible, and whenever he steps in his own shit, he just plays ignorant and pretends like he didn't know any better. I'm not trying to say he's some kind of evil genius, but he's smart enough to know pretending to be stupid is a viable excuse for basically all left wing positions, because they're stupid positions.
