I really think that's the point, or at least one of the main points, it's a sort of "counting heads" period, where they're pushing rhetoric that's so absolutely absurd, everyone is on a side, they want it to be as obvious as possible who's an unhinged lunatic that's on their side, and who's a normal person that knows it's all bullshit. Can't be having any nuance anywhere, where there's 2 different logical positions on a subject. Gotta have a logical and completely illogical side.
