@spsawyer22 pro choice and pro abortion are different positions though. Pro abortion is relatively new, at least new in the mainstream like it is today. Nobody should be pro abortion, that's straight up psychotic, pro choice means you know it's a moral wrong, but you think it can be sometimes justified in extreme circumstances, because you're preventing further moral wrongs, like a kid being brought into a world where they have little to no chance of having a good life. I get that. I don't agree with that, but I get why people think that way. Being pro abortion is as psychotic as being pro war, nobody should want war, war is awful, sometimes there are just situations where it's necessary, and people disagree about what those situations are and how frequently they occur. But you shouldn't go to war because you want to, it's just one of those things that you have to do sometimes out of necessity, or because the alternatives are even worse.

@spsawyer22 it is an incoherent mess a lot of the time, and so inconsistent and dishonest. The pro life argument is just "abortion is murder, murder is wrong." Ok, that's straight forward, the only real argument against that is "I disagree", and then you have to give a sound reasoning for why you disagree. And the majority of pro abortion people cannot do that, all they have is appeals to emotion like "you just want to control women's bodies!" Or "you don't actually care about life after birth!" And a whole bunch of other sensationalist nonsense, ok, neat, even if those baseless assertions were true, that's not a rebuttal of whether or not killing a baby is wrong.
