  5. I think one of the core reasons we're seeing so much far left insanity lately is because the left tends to view extremism as a good thing. When you see 2 of those weirdos in an online thread together, it turns into some weird pissing contest to prove who's further left, or who's "the real leftist". That doesn't really exist on the right, at least not in the same way. When right wingers debate on topics, they're usually trying to be the more reasonable person, not the furthest to the right.

  6. It's not even really officially a "thing", it's just the colloquial term used to refer to the leftist cult that believes every left wing conspiracy theory that's sharted out by the media. Kind of a play on words with Qanon, because the same people who mindlessly believe every fake news story from the left think that everyone to the right of Mao is a far right conspiracy theorist who believes in flat earth and Jewish space lasers.
