  1. No borders is definitely regressive, but I would say having borders is conservative. We've pretty much figured out for several centuries now, borders are necessary. Pretty simple concept. That would be like saying "drinking water is progressive", because there's a group of self proclaimed progressives saying you don't actually have to drink water. No, you definitely have to drink water. Let's just conserve the extremely basic knowledge that water is good.
