@joshrivers5191 he's admitted to being a drug addict and a womanizer. That's not a crime.

@joshrivers5191 we should defend the right to a fair trial, even if the defendant isn't a good person.
28
@joshrivers5191 what is he guilty of? You've made this claim numerous times, and you've been asked to clarify numerous times, and you refuse to directly address your accusations. Why are you being so dishonest?

I remember prime time cable TV shows airing interviews with people like Charles Manson, because even as depraved and psychotic as he was, there was no harm in allowing him to speak, if anything it shines a light on how depraved and psychotic he was to deter people from that kind of extremist thought process. Anyone who thinks this is justice needs a serious reality check.

Even if he ends up being guilty as guilty can be, jumping to action like this before there are any solid facts established creates an artificial demand for false allegations. And that's not a bug, it's a feature.
21
@joshrivers5191 yea I didn't think you would back up any of your claims. Because you're dishonest.

@stephenthomas1492 I feel kinda bad for Joe Rogan, I think if he had the option he would gladly go back to just smoking pot and talking about chimps and MMA with his friends, completely separate from the political arena. He got roped into all of this just because he refuses to back down to the outrage mob. And God bless him for that, but I don't think he ever wanted to be a political figure.

@zonzillamagnus5902 but he was already rich as hell before he was involved in any culture wars. It's not like he got rich because of it, he was rich, and then he got involved in it.

@ohsweetmystery exactly, I remember seeing interviews on prime time shows with Charles Manson and people like that. Even the most depraved, violent, psychopathic monsters used to be allowed to have a voice, their words don't hurt anyone, if anything we can learn from it so we know what not to fall into. People have lost sight of that.

@zonzillamagnus5902 and he was rich before he was political.
3
@luckirye and what "things" are you referring to? Be specific.

Just to play devil's advocate, Johnny Depp isn't innocent, he was just the normal fucked up person in an extremely fucked up relationship. Amber Heard is definitely more to blame than him, she's a certifiable crazy person that's not fit for society, but he's a crazy person too. He's just a more functional crazy person.

@controversialverbal3792 you really have to wonder if these are real people and their authentic opinions, or just paid psyops to make real people think other real people have these stupid opinions. It would almost be better that way, at least he would be getting paid.

@luxie8097 I think all his weird behavior and open honesty about drug use and sex actually leans towards his innocence. Someone who has real skeletons in his closet probably wouldn't craft a public figure of being a drug addicted sex fiend. They would probably try to come across as wholesome, like Bill Cosby.

If anyone is still undecided if this is a political hit, damn near half of the movies made before 2020 that are on streaming services have Harvey Weinstein's name attached to it in one way or another, and he was actually tried and convicted of crimes. Brand has only been accused, informally, and governments are trying to forcefully remove him from public life entirely.
