Us normal people laugh about this, but leftists actually still believe that we're not talking about race and racism enough.

@clownshoes6137 it was just a kinda fucked up family, it wasn't as bad as other serial killers who were abused. His dad was just kinda cold and never bonded with him, his mom was a pill junky and took off when he was a teenager.

@napiersh1 I bet he's not even a sasquatch.

@libertariansasquatch I didn't think the racism angle was as aggressive as they're suggesting in this video, but that definitely took over the narrative in the last few episodes. I still liked it overall, but it went downhill towards the end, it honestly probably could have been 8 episodes instead of 10. A lot of those last few was just junk filler, and a lot of it was the race narrative. They only painted one side, and sure, the police definitely could have done better at paying attention to the warnings, but you also have to remember all the false reports they get and people just making a big deal over nothing. Obviously that wasn't the case with Dahmer, but you should be able to understand how they're sometimes hesitant to investigate every single tip they get.

@strykerwaller3784 yea that part cracked me up too, how they tried to throw in the "and he was racist!" part, I actually laughed out loud, I'm like yea but.... He was a cannibal serial killer. I'm pretty sure that's the bad part. Maybe he had unpaid parking tickets too, I don't care about that.

Not really, he just preyed on the weak and vulnerable, he was kind of a nobody so he was able to stay under the radar.

@moderatecanuck well police get a lot of false reports and people just calling over nonsense. I'm not saying the police in the Dahmer case should get a medal, they were definitely negligent, but let's not act like they knew there was a serial killer and they just did nothing about it, Dahmer was pretty good at staying under the radar and choosing victims that wouldn't be particularly widely missed. Not to be harsh about it, but it's the truth.

This series really didn't put Dahmer on a pedestal though, he was pretty clearly the bad guy.
2
@chronix7946 yea but when it comes to Dahmer, it's a pretty damn shocking story without any Hollywood flair thrown in.

@johnjames3286 since when have facts and a chronological timeline ever stopped the left from saying nonsense? There were people blaming Trump for their obesity, people who surely had been obese for far more than 4 years.

@southhour5241 yea I think you summed it up pretty nicely. Leave it to the left to make one of the most shocking waves of serial murder in American history all about race. The dude ate people ffs, I'm pretty sure thats the bad part. Eating people is bad, mkay? Doesn't matter what color they are.

I actually thought the series was pretty good. It went downhill towards the end, when the race politics became more forefront and the neighbor sort of became the main protagonist, I definitely could have done without that. But it definitely wasn't the most leftist show out there.
