@danielbyrne5402 yea I'm 37, given my memory is pretty hazy because I've drank a million beers and smoked 300lbs of weed since I was a kid, but that's about what sex ed was for me too, it was basically a bunch of kids giggling while the teacher desperately tried to remain serious and not get too embarrassed. There's definitely some value in kids at least learning the basic biological aspects, probably should be more on the parents than the teachers, but what it's become today is just disgusting and ridiculous. And I'm hardly a puritan.

@wrongthinker843 yea there's really not a whole lot of value that can be taught by adults to children, all the important stuff you just kinda figure out on your own. Like we did for the overwhelming majority of human history. I highly doubt there are ancient cave paintings about sexuality and how to pleasure yourself and stuff like that. You just stick it in stuff until you find the stuff you like to stick it in the most.

Same as the whole "mental health revolution", for lack of a better term, people used to be stigmatized for being crazy, and maybe that was a little messed up, but we just zoomed right past the happy medium of not stigmatizing people but also not celebrating it, and now it's celebrated and we throw drugs at every perceived problem, and the majority of society has at least one form of crazy.
