It's pretty sad how society still has to go through this perpetual cycle of accepting right wing ideology once left wing ideology has burned everything to the ground, and right wing ideology is the only way to survive and rebuild. And then once we've gotten back to a point of thriving, left wing ideology sticks it's grubby paws back into the mix and the cycle repeats. Hopefully we eventually learn to just drive around the part of the cycle where we burn it all down.

  2. ​ @tgheretford  the free market is a built in mechanism for change and progression. You don't just change things because a blue haired communist complained about something, you change because something better emerged, and you can tell when it's better when people would rather buy it than the old thing.
