I've never seen them make a comment that was remotely close to a libertarian perspective, unless you think "I should be able to do whatever I want with no consequences", which seems to be the perspective of self proclaimed "left libertarians".

It makes me think of "Beyond the Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon", it's a mockumentary/horror movie about a group of college students that do an interview with a guy who wants to be a serial killer in the style of classic slasher movie villains. And midway through the movie he really starts killing all the students, and when they're all freaking out he's just kinda like "what? I told you I was going to do this, I've literally been saying I was going to kill all of you on the first day".😂😂

  10.  @TearThatRedFlagDown  I agree, that's why I put the quotations around "left libertarian" like that, I just meant that they call themselves that, not that they actually are. The most generous I will be is that I suppose you could be left libertarian, if you're just a little bit left of center, or just a little bit libertarian over authoritarian. Most people who claim to be left libertarian just think they should be able to do whatever they want, and someone else should be forced to pay for it. It's not libertarian if you wouldn't extend the same freedoms to everyone else that you want for yourself. And as far as far left anarchists, they're just using anarchist ideology as a means to destroy the current state, the end goal isn't a stateless society, it's a state that's controlled by their ideology, by force. Even if that's not what the blue haired Twitter creatures want, it's what they would get if their ideology becomes dominant.

  11. The left thinks abortion is just fine, because a baby could inconvenience the mother. They believe in "fates worse than death", the same as most religions. There's no limit to what they will justify in their own minds, once they no longer think death is the worst thing that can happen.

  12.  @erueka6  it's really a great movie, I categorize satire into 2 broad categories - the "takedown" style, that's meant to mock and tear down a topic, or ideology, or genre, and there's the "love letter" style, that's more of a playful mockery of something the creators actually enjoy. The latter is usually better, because someone who really loves slasher movies is going to make a better quality satire of the genre, they know it, they know the silliness of it, and they know the fanbase too. That's what Beyond the Mask is, it's a really clever satire but it comes from love, and it actually stands up pretty well as a serious slasher movie, if you take away the documentary setup.
