It's a common communist tactic, they take the most absurdly extreme position on a topic, exploiting the fact that most people are moderates, and will try to find some kind of middle ground. And the middle ground between a reasonable position and a completely insane and absurd position is something slightly less absurd and insane. So you may feel like you're "compromising", but you're really bending to their whim.

Yea they at least had the respect to just steal our money and give it to them to buy their own crack pipes. Now they're cutting out that middle man and just giving them the pipes. So damn disrespectful. At least give us a little ambiguity and let us pretend like it might be going to just causes.

@treesurgeon2441 gun control is a prime example, most people view some regulations but still allowing some ownership as the "moderate" position, because the left has been pushing for taking away guns completely for so long, when really any kind of regulation goes against the constitution and significantly further left than a moderate position. The moderate position is all citizens should have the right to bear arms, as is clearly stated in our Constitution.
