When Piers says "so you're saying that's a good thing?" And Tate says "no", that really gives you a window into the mind of a leftist and how it differs from a regular person. A regular person can observe reality and make a descriptive statement about it, a leftist cannot separate what actually exists from what they want to exist. So when you say "this thing is a thing that exists", a leftist automatically assumes that you like it that way and you're the cause of it being that way.

Same, and I'm a pretty avid MMA fan. Given he's a kickboxer, and I don't pay enough attention to kickboxing as I would like to, but you would think I'd at least hear the name if he was that famous from that.

Even leftists are saying Piers sounded like a dishonest hack in this interview. But they can't think, they're just saying that because their puppet masters told them that's what they think.

@BangingMash he thinks like a leftist though. Or at least his style of deliberately misrepresenting the people he's interviewing is a page out of their playbook. Leftists don't genuinely believe the things they say they believe. They just say whatever they think will put more power on their side.

@fifiadan I can't imagine. I've always tried to make sure I'm honest to myself, part of me can kind of understand where they're coming from, but I can't imagine being such a coward I can't admit uncomfortable truths even to myself. That would be a horrible way to live. The best example I can think of recently is watching The Captain, the docuseries about Derek Jeter, I love him, he's one of my favorite athletes ever, but towards the end hearing him speak about racial stuff and everything like that, I realized he's let some of the woke leftism leak into his perspective. Which was very disappointing. Not horribly bad, he's not as infected with leftism as someone like LeBron, but instead of just denying that I had to admit to myself that one of my favorite athletes is kind of a douche. But that's ok, I still love what he did on the field, nothing will change that. But if I had the mentality of a leftist, and an athlete I admired didn't agree with me politically, I would either deny that all together, or suddenly decide I hate him and he's terrible, and everything he's ever done is trash. Because that's how they think. Everything is tribal.
