I actually pictured an Indian or Pakistani when I thought of "American citizen" just now, because a white or black American would probably just call themselves an American, the citizen part is taken for granted because they were born citizens. Some of the most patriotic people I know are Pakistanis, because they had to earn that and they appreciate it, they've lived life outside of the US and understand how shit some other countries are. Sadly, we're flushing all that down the toilet, because the left has no ability to appreciate anything.
