  1. I live about 30 miles south of downtown Houston, I like it. It's far enough away from the city to not be too leftist, but it's still developed enough that I have anything I need within a few minutes. And the people mostly keep to themselves but are still friendly when you engage with them, doesn't have the overly intrusive feel of rural areas but not the cold, person less feel of the city
