It's not new, they've been doing the collective guilt thing for white people, straight people, men, christians, etc etc etc for ages now. People we like: don't ever judge the group by the worst actors, no matter how large of a percentage those bad actors are. People we don't like: burn them all, no matter how small of a percentage the bad actors are, the worst of the group represents the whole.

It's the logical next step from bumper stickers. Now it's not just everyone driving behind you that has to know everything you like, support, hate, or sometimes just random character traits about you - it's as many people as you can possibly tell, in any way possible.

Bang on, it's always blown my mind how so many people, mostly on the left, are so caught up on "morality" in politics - if you look to politicians for morality, that's a you problem.

@fffrrraannkk lmao, I was out at a bar a year or so ago, and I saw a WNBA playoff game on one of the TVs, I legit thought it was a community college game or something like that. There was less than 100 people in the crowd, all grouped right behind the bench, because..... Well why not? Nobody else is there.
