I do quite enjoy how make believe words the left invents to attempt to make fun of regular people usually end up being turned around to make fun of leftists. You could tell they were those nerdy kids who got bullied and actually wanted to be the bullies.

I've met some ladies that are damn good pool shooters, there's no physical reason women can't be just as good as men. But it doesn't happen that often, and even the women who are good shooters can usually be exploited through their pride, it's easy to get in their head and make them walk into traps, they tend to be on a mission to prove they're better than men, so if you dangle a makeable but difficult shot in front of them, they'll take it instead of backing down and doing something more strategic.

@apebass2215 it's a slight disadvantage that can be overcome with skill. I know some wee little men that are damn good shots. You can still reach most normal shots even if you're short, and even if you're so short you can't reach a lot of common shots, you can just get good with a bridge. Creativity and playing to your strengths is a big thing, it can be a difference maker.

@apebass2215 like I said, with people of normal height, it really doesn't make any difference. A woman who's 5'4" would just have to use a bridge slightly more often than a man who's 5'9". And if she's good with a bridge, which presumably she is, since she has to use it more, it's no disadvantage at all. If you take 2 goofballs that play pool twice a year, one is 6", the other is 5'7", yea the taller guy is probably gonna have an advantage, just because they're goofballs that don't play pool, height by default will be a determining factor. But if you actually play pool, you come to a certain skill level where the height advantage is nullified.

@apebass2215 Jose Altuve is 5'6", and he's one of the best players in baseball. You're looking at averages and thinking they're rules. Just because something is typically a disadvantage doesn't mean it can't be overcome with skill, and it often is in the real world. The hilarious irony in all this is that you're accidentally displaying that your low intelligence and high arrogance would put you at a severe disadvantage in pool, far more so than being extremely short.

@nominalvelocity yea I'm 5'8", so it's not like I have a height advantage over many people. But it's never been a disadvantage either, I can reach 95% of shots no problem, and the other 5% I can figure something else out, bridge, bankshot, or just take another shot. Anyone overstating height or arm length just hasn't really played pool at any level beyond bullshitting around with their friends. Which is fine, not everyone is into it. But to act like you know something you don't is not fine, that makes this dude a massive tool.

@apebass2215 only if you're 4'11 or some shit like that. I'm not sure if you're aware of this, but most women are not 4'11. People of normal height aren't really going to have that much difference, like I said, you can just get good with a bridge. Someone who has to use it more is probably going to be better with it. And unless you're 7 feet tall, you have to use a bridge sometimes.

@DrekJS27 yea reaction time really isn't relevant to pool though, you have all the time in the world to analyze and take a shot, and the balls aren't moving. I think the main reasons men tend to be better is just that they're more interested in sports, and because we tend to be better at strategy, and thinking ahead. Those are tendencies though. A woman with that kind of aptitude can be just as good as a man.

Someone who's below average would just have to use a bridge more often, and if they're good with a bridge, that's not a disadvantage. I really don't understand why you can't understand this. @apebass2215 hell even extremely short people can shoot pretty good, I used to know a literal little person that played in tournaments. I don't think he was a midget, he was whatever it's called when they don't have the big head and sausage fingers but they're really really short. Dwarf maybe? But either way, he was a sharpshooter. He wasn't great for tournaments, he was usually first round meat, but compared to average jokers drinking beers and shooting pool, he would kick their ass consistently.

@apebass2215 and I'm stating that the disadvantage shrinks with skill. It really only makes a meaningful difference with low skill players. You can practice and play enough that being short makes no impact whatsoever on your success, unless you're just freakishly short. Which really doesn't effect women much more than men.

@Albion_truthsayer and a woman under 5" probably doesn't have a very large opportunity to play pro or anything like that, but 99% of people don't have a real opportunity to play pro either. As long as you can reach the majority of the table, you aren't at a disadvantage. And you don't have to be very tall to reach most of the table.

@apebass2215 no, because all women are at a disadvantage in muscle mass. Not all women are at a height disadvantage, just more of them. And as I've stated numerous times, it only matters if you're extremely short. Someone who's 5'8" doesn't have any advantage over someone who's 5'4", or anything non extreme like that. And someone who's 7 feet tall doesn't have an advantage over someone who's 5'8". They can both reach the table fine. You can't reach a shot more, you can either reach it or you can't. It's not like basketball or volleyball, where every extra inch gives you an extra advantage. As long as you're not a wee little person, you're fine.

@apebass2215 but the best male weight lifters are stronger than the best females. Being "more tall" doesn't really mean shit in pool, like I said earlier, you can either reach the ball or you can't, and you really don't have to be very tall to reach most or even all shots. Probably 5'6"-5'7" is fine. Even a little shorter than that, you can overcome with skill. It's not the same as other sports. Have you ever watched pros? The best women are just as good as the best men. The only reason it's even segregated by gender is because there's just more men that are A+, but the women who are A+ can and do beat the best men in the world. The ceiling for men and women is the same. It's just that far fewer women reach that ceiling. Which is exactly what I was saying in my original comment.

@apebass2215 and the main reason fewer women reach that level has nothing to do with height, it's mental. Women are less likely to have the kind of strategic mentality required to shoot at a high level. As long as they're not itty bitty little tiny girls, there's nothing stopping them from shooting as well as men.

Which yes, of course is going to be more women than men, but as long as a woman isn't extremely short, it's completely irrelevant. It's relevant to women as a whole, but not to an individual woman unless they're really short. Seriously, tell me what part of this you're having trouble understanding.

@apebass2215 only to a certain extent. Have you ever even seen them? They're not all freaky tall dudes. Most of the best players are just normal sized dudes, lmao, that's probably why they play pool and not basketball or football. You don't have to be big or athletic.
