  2.  @michaelsorensen7567  there was this guy that trained monkeys for a zoo or lab or some shit like that, and one of the chimps would finger paint. So one day he got a brainstorm to put some of the monkey paintings up at an auction, except he said that they were by this hot new french artist that hasn't made it big yet. And a bunch of artsy aristocrats started buying them for shitloads of money🤣🤣🤣 one of the greatest trolls of all time, the guy was just trying to prove a point about high society, and the power of suggestion.

Well I'm just a pleb that doesn't really know anything at all about actually composing or playing music, and pretty much all I listen to is heavy metal, but from my limited understanding it seems like it's just about knowing the "rules" not necessarily adhering to them rigidly. But if you know what the orthodox ground work of music theory is, you can sort of reverse engineer that in a way that you can bend or break the rules in a way that's still enjoyable.
