We can talk shit about how evil the high level democrats are if we want, and that's true, but they're not stupid, if they had put him up to this, it probably would have actually been done right and have some plausibility of being real. They at least could have hired some white guys who are actually racist, there's no shortage of that within democrat circles. I think Jussie concocted the whole half brained plan in his own half brain.

  7.  @R.E.factor  and I think they took the bait and ran with it, but I also don't think they had much of a choice. Their other options were to either speak out against it, which obviously isn't going to happen because it goes against the narrative, or downplay or completely ignore it. Which also wasn't much of an option because it became such a big story, on account of how outlandishly stupid it is. I have to imagine when the higher ups heard about it their attitude was something akin to "ah, goddamnit, now we gotta find a way to defend this dumbass. Anyone got any ideas how we can cover it up or frame someone else?"
