@wrongthinker843 the "fallacy" part means that it's often used as a fallacious argument, but that certainly doesn't mean it's always fallacious, or that there's no such thing as a slippery slope.

@wrongthinker843 and the hilariously ironic part is that the most egregious example of a slippery slope fallacy that I've seen in mainstream consciousness lately is how the left is losing their marbles over Roe v Wade being overturned, saying shit like "this is just going to open the door for them overturning same sex marriage, and even making internment camps for LGBT!!!" Which is obviously absurd, that has absolutely nothing to do with abortion law. But the left always projects.
