  1. A long time ago I was going with my then girlfriend to meet up with her coworker and her husband, Lyle. And when she told me his name I immediately asserted that he has funny facial hair, like a handlebar moustache, or a long, braided chin beard. Of course she said that's ridiculous and called me stupid for even thinking I could know that just based on his name. And of course, I was right, he had a handlebar moustache. She could barely contain her laughter to the point we eventually just had to tell Lyle the whole thing, with me grinning my ass off the whole time, he laughed his ass off too. She hated it when I was right about nonsense like that. So you can't tell someone's name by looking at them, but if you're super smart like me, sometimes you can tell what someone looks like by their name.
