I was in college about 20 years ago, and yes it definitely did exist. Although it wasn't nearly as aggressive. And I'm not an idiot, so I didn't go balls to the wall and buy into it, but there are a lot of subtle misconceptions I did kind of buy into, it's kinda hard to explain. I was never an America hating psycho, but I definitely had a less favorable view of America and western civilization after a few years of college than I did before. And some of those things are right, that's how they hook stupid people in, its not 100% untrue, it's little nuggets of truth they blow out of proportion and take out of context to always put the US in the worst light possible.

@skye.325 it's also just natural teenage rebellion, when you're 18 and living on your own for the first time, you think you're the king of the world, you don't think you need authority in any way, because you know what's best for you. The whole anti authority rhetoric they push is appealing, which is laughable considering their end goal is to usher in an authoritative state. But their messaging is extremely calculated, and manipulative. And this is coming from someone who didn't drink the Kool-Aid, I pushed back against my professors that were pushing the woke crap, but I also did become skeptical of some things, at least for a time. Sad irony is that they're right about America not being some perfect haven, but the main problem with America is them. I think that's kind of the point. Tell kids America sucks while they're actively making America suck more, then they can say see, I told you it sucks! Now let's do things my way, it'll be better!

That movie really stands the test of time, I watched it a few months ago and hadn't seen it since it came out, when I was a teenager. I liked it then because it was just goofy and stupid, but damn, a lot of the satire went over my head. What a great movie.

Honestly I think democrat voters are the most responsible, at a certain point can you really blame politicians for being politicians? If some dummy goes to a used car dealership and offers to pay way more than the asking price for a junker, can you really blame the dealer for taking the offer? He's just doing what he does, adults are supposed to know, you don't trust politicians, car dealers, or people who wear sunglasses indoors and aren't blind. That's just basic life skills.
