@ciscornBIG I remember the AOL instant messagers, and a lot of my friends in high school started using that to meet people and date. That was the birth of the unholy abomination of online dating.

@smelltheglove2038 I had an idiot boss that kept saying "vocal point" during a meeting, it took me a minute to even realize what she meant. She meant "focal point", and probably said "vocal point" instead about 5 times in a single brief meeting. It was pretty obvious she had just heard (or rather misheard) the term recently and thought it "sounded smart", was probably like oooo, I'm gonna use that!
