At this point moving to the right is like the Oakland Athletics improving their winning percentage, they're so bad if they win 1 out of 3 games, that's an improvement.

I think a lot of people misunderstand the conservative/Republican position on climate change, at least the mainstream view. And that's their own fault for their poor messaging. But it's not that most conservatives think there's no such thing as climate change, it's more a valid skepticism of how much of it is due to human interactions, and what can be done about it, and more importantly, that solutions from the left and Democrats have absolutely nothing to do with the climate or environment as a whole, it's 100% about pushing further left policies.

In the UK? What is it, 90°? I live in Texas, I have to kinda laugh at other people complaining about the heat. It's 100° here with enough humidity to cut the air with a knife, this is pretty much how it stays from May to September.

@apebass2215 I get where they're coming from, there are definitely a very large percentage of toxic women, being a young single man is rough. And this isn't a "both sides are bad" thing either, there's definitely a lot of pathetic and feckless men too, but the problem with young men isn't nearly as pronounced and widespread as with young women. But it is also a big over generalization, there are good women out there. But I get the frustration, it's pretty damn hard to find them.

@ohwellwhateverr typical leftist straw manning, just accusing everyone who disagrees or is even skeptical of being a "science denier". Which is hilarious considering skepticism is a major component of science. And as I stated earlier, the messaging from mainstream conservatives doesn't help, like when Candace Owens in on Joe Rogan Experience and just says straight up that climate change isn't real. And someone who's being honest about what she really means would know that she's talking about man made climate change, but the people who would attack her over that are not honest, she needs to be more specific and not give them such obvious bait to take sound bytes.

@TheNerdForAllSeasons yea, I guess it is kind of mean, especially considering I'm an Astros and Yankees fan.

@apebass2215 mostly anecdotal, although I'm sure if you were to really dig into some metrics you could find a whole hell of a lot to back it up. Just take a look around you, it's plain as day to see. There are zero societal standards for women in western culture, none whatsoever. Women are celebrated and encouraged for engaging in horrible behaviors like cheating and going after men just for their money, there's no pressure whatsoever for young women to have a strong moral character, that expectation lies completely on men. You know this is true too, everyone knows it's true, even more honest women will admit to this.

@blackosprey2219 I grew up playing double headers in triple digit heat, pitching one game and playing outfield in the other, with humidity off the charts. I played better in the second game, my coaches eventually learned I should pitch that game because I was seemingly unphased by the heat, it wasn't that I was better of course I was worse, I had already played a game and been drained by the heat, but I got less drained than everyone else so I performed better in comparison. The human body is an incredible machine, if you're motivated and you really want something, you can do a lot more than what you probably think you can.

I saw 2 kids, about 6 or 7 at my work yesterday, and they were wearing matching T-shirts that said "social justice, diversity and inclusion" and every other empty leftist mantra you can imagine. It was from Baylor University, I'm trying not to be too judgemental about it because maybe it was just an event at their school and they just gave out free shirts or something, I don't know, but I couldn't help but kinda look sideways at the mom, like alright, we got a communist groomer here.
