I'm arguing with the knuckle draggers of the Vaush comments right now, sort of a guilty pleasure of mine. But my argument was that the whole free love thing maybe wasn't such a great idea, and young people, women especially, who sleep with a ton of different partners tend to be very unhappy, typically depressed. They're simultaneously arguing that I'm wrong, and they're not unhappy, except actually they are unhappy, but they're unhappy for the right reasons because it's someone else's fault. Freaking hilarious. What a weird cult the left is.

That kinda is what it means. Socialism is collectivism, the idea that everyone's wealth and resources should be piled into a community piggy bank, for all to use. Right wing philosophy says people should be free to make their own way, and keep what they earn, nothing more and nothing less. It expands much further than economics.

That's the exact reason they're trying this propaganda angle. They don't want to lose any recruits. They know we'll laugh and mock them, because it's ridiculous, and they know it's ridiculous. They're just trying to discourage the people who are feeling a little lost, but trying to do something about it. They're saying no no no.... Don't do anything about it. Just give in and be miserable.

I did some squats, ate a steak, and then I started marching around my living room without my knees bent at all. It was the weirdest thing.

To be as reductive as possible, the right is individual liberty and personal responsibility, and the left is collective ownership and state responsibility. Obviously there's a lot more to politics than that, but if I could tear it all down to it's bare bones, I think that's the most brief way to break down the difference in the 2 broader world views. So it makes a lot of sense that taking control of your life would lead to you thinking more "right".

And these lunatics will argue that the Overton window has shifted right. When that's convenient, that is, when its convenient to appeal to demographics, they'll claim the world is moving left (but not left enough).

@nickmitsialis they said eating 3 meals a day is white supremacy, because something something something colonialism. Apparently having such an abundance of food and wealth that you can set aside certain times of the day to eat balanced meals is a bad thing, and we were better off when we just threw sharp sticks at large animals and ate whenever we had food. Which was hopefully enough to not die.

kamrudkd Muslims actually are pretty far right.... Not sure if this is meant to be sarcasm or not. But they're actually one of the only legitimate examples of far right ideology in modern day.
1
kamrudkd ok, cool, but it's pretty far right ideology. I'm not saying you can't be Muslim, I'm just calling it as it is.

So the people who think men can be women, and socialism will work this time, seriously guys, are telling us not to be healthy. Ok.
1
Yep, they're aware. They're weaponizing every insane, delusional, stupid, sociopathic, lazy, degenerate monster in the world to fight their crusade.
1
They have a little "synthetic" help too....

@kaizokujimbei143 it's unbelievable. They're trying to say that leftists are more depressed because they're "more aware", and right wingers are just oblivious to how terrible the world is🤣🤣 they use more academic phrasing than that, but that's precisely their mental gymnastics when confronted with the fact that the world isn't a miserably horrible place, it's just a miserably horrible place if you suck and you're a leftist.

@mikehawk3472 the left wants to eat 20 cheeseburgers for lunch every day, AND make you pay for their insulin when they lose a foot.
