Kids in the US aren't doing any better, my work hires high school and college kids during the holidays and summer, for extra help, you wouldn't believe how generally inept most of them are at just basic life skills. I've had to teach several of them how to mop, and wash dishes, it's mind blowing. And getting to know them a little on a personal level isn't any more optimistic, we have one now that doesn't know who Hitler is, wasn't even aware that there were 2 world wars and just has an absolute lack of knowledge about very basic history, there's another one we just hired who asked one of the other employees to make her a sandwich on Thanksgiving because she "doesn't know how". I'm pretty sure a chimp could figure out how to make a sandwich if you place some bread and lunch meat in front of him.

  2.  @sabersz  good for you. I don't mean to be too pessimistic either, I've met some good kids through work too, I feel like you would probably be one of them. Funny how one kid that shows a lot of maturity can cancel out 3 or 4 duds. Keep up that attitude, you'll do just fine in life.

  3. So, according to the leftist lunatics, there's been a dramatic increase of kids who identify as LGBT, because of past oppression, and society is more accepting of them now. And also, there's a dramatically higher percentage of these kids who are depressed and unhappy than in the general public, because of oppression and a lack of acceptance. So we've gotten more accepting of LGBT and also less accepting of LGBT. Because of course.
