You know, it's kinda funny, I never understood the connection between the game "Monopoly!" and the real world definition of the term until a painfully later date in life than I would like to admit. I guess it's because I only played that game when I was a kid and I didn't really care about that kind of stuff. But yea that's the point of the game, own as much shit as possible so you can charge outrageous rates for rent, just because you can.

@foxon172 and the lefties always cry about "capitalism", when really everything they're crying about is closer to fascism or communism, governments are working in lock step with corporations to unify their power over the people. That's if you can even back them into a corner enough to where they have to admit things like this are a problem in the first place, most of the time they're just crying about surface level nonsense, because they think they should make $30/hr for making coffee at Starbucks 25 hours a week, poorly. And somehow it's capitalism to blame because they don't.
