It's like when a cheating girlfriend admits to only kissing another guy or something like that. She's gaslighting you into thinking she's being honest, because she offered up something bad she did. But in reality, it's much, much worse than that.

@matrix3509 none of the important people that are the most guilty, at least. They'll selectively punish the people who step out of line and don't support the regime, and probably even pepper in some names that had nothing to do with any of it. But anyone who plays ball for the regime and politically benefits them will be protected.

@BobBob-fv3xj I don't think saying that a woman is attractive is simping, simping is when you toss a bunch of money on an online personality that doesn't know or care that you exist. It doesn't cost you anything to say "hey, that girl is hot", and you don't lose anything from it. It's just an observation.

And the left will still say that widespread grooming and human trafficking are just a "conspiracy theory", except when they think they can leverage it for political power. Then it's totally real, and it's all the Republicans doing it. But it's also a conspiracy theory.

It makes me think of Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, when the Vogons come to demolish Earth, they say the plans have been posted for the public to see, it shouldn't be a surprise. Because they just quietly tell you what they're going to do, knowing that most people won't go out of their way to find it. Then they can say they told you so, because technically, they did.

@nonamesplease6288 it's a common tactic for the left, it's similar to their 3 tiered narrative control that we're all so familiar with - 1) it's not happening. 2) it's only happening a little bit. 3) of course it's happening, and here's why it's a good thing.

@chrism4008 the scale could make it worse, they're going to try to pretend like it's just an outlier with a small handful of pervs, when it's really the majority of politicians, celebrities, really everyone in the "upper tier" of society.

Nothing is going to happen to the important people that have the most blood on their hands. They'll selectively punish people who don't play ball for the regime, and probably even throw a few people under the bus that are on their side, so they can claim it's "non partisan". I honestly wouldn't be surprised if they go full in on Clinton, because he's a notable name, but he's also old and not relevant to current politics. He's of no value to them anymore, they could toss him in prison for the rest of his life so they can pretend like it's not a political hit against their enemies.
