  1. This is gonna sound like a stupid comparison, but just go with me if you will, I'm a Yankees fan, and I live in Houston. So there's not a ton of Yankees fans down here. When I've met other Yankees fans, I've often caught myself kinda giving them more of the benefit of the doubt than I would otherwise, like if they seem like kind of a dick, my attitude towards it is eh, it's fine. They seem alright. And if they weren't a Yankee fan, or if I didn't know they were, I would probably have an attitude more like nah that dude's a dick. So I can somewhat see where that tribalism comes from, if I was a completely insane Yankees fan that attached way too much of my identity as a person to that, I would probably completely ignore any and all bad behavior I see from Yankees fans. I think that's where this comes from. Some people are kinda like yea I'm gay it's not that big of a deal, but some people are way too into that and think that it's the one central thing that defines them as a person.

  2. I'm NGL, I'm a little bit scared of Caitlyn Jenner. It looks like an insectoid alien, wearing a poorly fitting human skin suit. I'm not cripplingly terrified, it's not like I think it's gonna bang down my door and eat me. Probably. But when I see it on TV I'm just kinda like woah... Wtf.

  3. Oh no. She pandered to the far left outrage mob, and then when she stepped out of line they grabbed their pitchforks and came for her. That poor thing. I have precisely the same amount of sympathy I had for Dr. Frankenstein, when the creature came for him.
