  1. Leftists are like children, and society should treat them as such. You don't give a kid ice cream just because they're crying, you don't let them stay up until any hour just because they want to, you don't let them talk to you any way they want to, you have to be the adult, and step in and teach them how to act right, because they don't know any better, they're children. This isn't mean, it's just the right thing to do, and the compassionate thing to do. Somewhere along the way, society forgot that leftists are just kids that never grew up, and started giving them what they want. And here we are now.

  2. Political apathy. In a world where people pay half as much attention to politics as they do sports and celebrity culture, there would be practically zero far leftism, because people would know better, and if the ruling class tried to fudge elections to put leftists in office, everyone would know better, because they would know nobody voted for that shit. We did this to ourselves, slowly, over the course of several generations.
