Imagine trying to explain the concept of "online violence" to someone in 2000.

Meme them until they cry, and then make memes of them crying.

If I'm being completely honest, if one of my cajun friends said they were doing a grasshopper boil, I might try it. Crawfish are pretty much aquatic bugs. And they're great. But I sure as hell wouldn't do it because the communist overlords are making me do it, this is purely food curiosity.

@AckzaTV I think that would fall into the category of "indirect violence", like a Home Alone style booby trap. You didn't actually smack Joe Pesci on the head with a frying pan, but you set up the series of ropes and pulleys that resulted in him getting smacked in the head by a frying pan. That's distinctly different than saying "I wish someone would smack you on the head with a frying pan."

@zxyatiywariii8 of course I'm highly skeptical, if bugs actually tasted good, we would probably already eat them a lot. And I've heard people say it's good, but most of them seem like the kind of people who say they like things that are awful because they think it makes them seem interesting.

@guillermoelnino "might as well go straight to the sticks and stones, just in case someone says words that hurt me."

@obi-wanshinobi2353 you should umm.... Maybe get that checked out.

At this point, I'm not so sure, I think an increasing amount of lefticles are aware that they're the villains, and they're embracing it.

@philagelio336 it's funny how they act like things that "could lead to violence" are the same thing as violence, but also, violence is fine when they do it. Like racism, the entire reason racism is viewed as immoral is because it could lead to violence, so they just go ahead and start advocating for violence against people they deem as racist. Truly small brain thinking. Personally I'm not worried about some old school grandma that says politically incorrect stuff, she's not hurting anyone, the antifa lunatics burning streets down in the name of "anti racism" are hurting people.

@jhpfdijtuiweruot maybe some people, but I think it's more so just that he's actually taking the side of free speech, at least on the surface, and it's hilarious watching the left completely melt down over him. Speaking for myself only, I'm very well aware that it could just be a grift, opportunism, I still don't trust anyone with that much power any further than I can throw a rino.

@jhpfdijtuiweruot well if he actually brings more free speech to big tech platforms, then I'm fine with that, even if he did it for personal gain. And even if he doesn't, so what? Conservatives are still being suppressed? Ok, that was already happening.

@jhpfdijtuiweruot how's it a scam? What am I losing? If nothing else, even if it is a grift, I've gotten quite a lot of amusement from leftists losing their shit, and black pilled edgy boys like you pretending like you have the whole world figured out.
