@soothsayer1964 most people are scared to fight, because fighting sucks, it hurts, even if you win, even if you beat the stupid out of them without even taking a punch, you're gonna have bruised knuckles and forearms. You win once, against someone you wouldn't be expected to beat, it shows a) you can hold your own, and b) you're not scared. That's really all it takes, most guys won't even mess with you at that point. Especially not garden variety bullies, they don't want to actually fight, they just want to feel big. That's why they pick the weaklings, they don't want a challenge.

I wasn't really bullied for an extended amount of time, or repeatedly by multiple people, but I did have one guy that really didn't like me in middle school, and it eventually boiled over to the point where he decided to come to my house to fight me. I was scared to death, my skinny, nerdy ass had never been in a fight, but when it started it just kinda made sense to me, and I kicked the shit out of him. Changed my life, that was the moment where I started to discover who I really am as a man. Not trying to say I'm some kind of world beating ultra man, but I hold my own and I've never let people kick me around too much. Standing up to your fears is an essential part of growing up.

When you fall into the mindset that everything bad that ever happens to you is because of some kind of bigotry, you completely lose the ability to realize that sometimes people genuinely just don't like you, and sometimes things actually are your fault. That's why those lefty weirdos always freak out at any kind of criticism.

Well you see, communists are special, and they shouldn't have to work and do stuff like us filthy plebs. So yes, any suggestion that they should do normal things that adults do is absolutely bullying, because they're better than you, you're supposed to do all the work so they can enjoy the rewards.
