@dash_r_media Seriously, and there's a part of me who feels for them, I understand (at least as well as I can without firsthand experience) that they're torn up inside and want to find someone to blame, but just a few minutes of critical thinking would show them that guns aren't to blame. Slimy politicians just take advantage of those people's grief and use it for their own power grab. This isn't to take responsibility from the idiocy of the parents, as you said, people lose loved ones every day and plenty of those people don't immediately try to take away everyone else's rights. But I do also understand these kind of events are an especially traumatic and sensational way to lose someone, especially a kid.

@margyrowland I would go so far as to say most western women. To varying degrees of course, but I know a lot of women who you wouldn't think of as feminist and probably wouldn't even call themselves that, but when it's convenient to pull the "but I'm a girl!" card, they don't hesitate. It's the easy way out and it's always available.

@varimkadas6068 well just to play devil's advocate, I would say those kinds of people not having kids is a greater benefit to society than if they did have kids.

@user-gu9yq5sj7c not equal strength, obviously, but if women want equal pay at work, then they should be able to perform equal tasks. The women at my work expect me to do stuff like take out the trash and push the dumpster out the day before garbage day. Sometimes it's heavy, the dumpster is always a pain in the ass, but it's not THAT heavy, you don't have to be Brock Lesnar. It's not that they're too weak to do it, they just don't want to do it. And that's fine, I don't have a problem doing "man's work" like that, but the same women complain about women's rights and shit like that too, and say they want equality. You want equality, that means you take out equal amounts of trash and push out equal amounts of dumpsters. That's how it works. You have to pick a lane.

@moose6869 it's disturbing as hell. I used to think the left just gave a "safe space" to the creepos, but that most of them weren't actually that. Now I'm starting to realize pretty much all of them are creepos in one way or another. The only exceptions are people who are just young and naive and don't really understand what they're supporting.

That's what they're trying to take away, they want people to live mindless, meaningless lives, where they just chase more money and more stuff in the hopeless attempt to feel whole. They want to convince you that you don't need purpose, you don't need legacy, all of the things that actually matter really don't matter, because you can't hold it and measure it.
