Being held to societal standards is completely exclusive to men in western culture. This is not sustainable.

@jamescollins3647 this is true, and they wonder why it's hard to find a man that wants to settle down with them. Feminism has hurt women just as much as it's hurt men, it's hurt society in general.

I don't know if it will necessarily self correct though, at least not in the near future. We're creating multiple generations that are mostly emotionally crippled, even if their children don't subscribe to toxic leftist ideologies, they're going to have a whole different set of problems to overcome due to be raised by messed up parents.

@jamescollins3647 I've seen that attitude frequently too, and it's not even about ironing shirts, I don't give a shit about that anyway, but just the general attitude like doing stuff for your partner is terrible and demeaning. None of them would have a problem with a man working 40 or more hours a week so they can buy stuff. And most men don't have a problem with that either if it's a mutually beneficial relationship, because doing things for your partner shouldn't be a chore, it's just what you do. That's why it's called a partnership, otherwise it's just a sex partner.

So women are upset because their job prevents a lot of men from wanting to date them. Oh no. If I were a longshoremen, looking for a girlfriend, I wouldn't be surprised if it were difficult, not many women want to settle down with someone who's gone for several weeks at a time, frequently. Even if I were to meet someone, I would tend to be a little skeptical at first, since infidelity is so common with the partners of people who travel a lot. That's life, ladies. You wanted to be career women.
