Fatherless homes is probably the biggest single contributing factor to all this mess. When you look at the rates of poverty, addiction, depression, crime, teen pregnancy, high school dropouts, and numerous other problems, broken down by race, you see a steep disparity. But when you look at the rates of fatherless homes by race, it all makes sense.

I have a newborn son, almost 3 months old. This is going to be a tough world for him to navigate, I'm buckling my seatbelt for a lot of very difficult challenges ahead.

It still blows my mind that people actually take him seriously. Mostly 15 year olds that are just getting into politics, but still mind blowing, even one person in the entire world taking him seriously is alarming.

Same with having too many options for dating. Back in the old days, you lived in your town, that's where you probably spent your entire life, you probably know about 20 people of the opposite sex that are around your age. Now you can go on the internet and see every single person in the world.

I didn't realize my parents were just normal people trying to figure out the world until later in my life, I suppose as a teenager sometime. There was a sort of separation between my world and theirs, when I was a kid. I think that's the way it's supposed to be. Your kids aren't supposed to be your friend, they're your kids.

@LazySillyDog I just don't understand how people can be so stupid, it doesn't take a genius to understand that any dishonest tactics you use to further your goals can be used against you too.

It's a pretty wild world we live in, when the left is trying to kill their babies, hammer their kids into depression, and convince them to sterilize themselves, and the right is telling them to stop. You can't really find another society or a period in history where one side is actively trying to destroy their own population and their opposition is trying to stop them. If that doesn't speak to who the "good guys" and "bad guys" are in the culture war, I don't know what does.

@nickvanachthoven7252 it hurts men and women the same though. It's not like women are "winning" by competing for the same men, they're winning if you consider having sex a win, but in the long run it's harmful to them too.
