@texteel greed causing problems is part of the human condition. Any attempt to "correct" that through legislation will only create new problems.

@DieFlabbergast there's a difference between taking up a stage name that's either easier to pronounce for English speakers, or just sounds cool and is easy to remember, and changing your name to try and hide your heritage.

@justinambru8529 yes, thank you. Not all Jews, and not only Jews. A lot of people seem to conflate the club of wealthy elites with the club of Jews, and it's easy to see why, the representation of Jews among the richest people in the western world is pretty ridiculous compared to the overall representation of Jews in the population, but it's not like it's some magic yarmulke power or something crazy like that, it's wealth power, not jew power. Some random guy who happens to be Jewish doesn't have a clue about all this stuff.

@notsoberoveranalyzer8264 yes, luck is definitely a factor, to varying degrees depending on the circumstances. To use the restaurant example, since it's something I have personal experience with, and I feel like you probably do too, you can do everything the right way and go absolutely nowhere. And sometimes you luck out. It has more to do with the higher up positions than anything to do with you, most of the time the store managers and assistant managers are there to stay. The company has invested so much into them to put them in that position, in most cases they either have to fuck something up monumentally, or just decide to leave for personal reasons. Otherwise they're there for all eternity. And a lot of people will just sit in that job and do nothing for all eternity. So if you work at a fast food restaurant that has an established store manager, you're basically screwed, shift leader is about as far as you're gonna go. But maybe you luck out and you work at one with a store manager that leaves, and you take the job. But you've got to establish yourself as a solid shift leader to even be in the running for that, that's the part that isn't luck, that's within your control.

@seanwieland9763 I've always been amused by the people who are envious of people who spend their lives obsessing over money and career, but they don't actually do anything themselves. It would be like me being upset because my neighbor is a famous dancer, except I don't dance and don't care about dancing. Of course my neighbor is a better dancer than me, they obsess over dancing and do it all day long. That's what these lefty losers are, they eat Cheetos and play Xbox all day and then cry about how the guy that's been career driven since he was 12 is more successful than them. I'm sure the lefty loser is better at Xbox than the billionaire with no real friends or family, that's only ever cared about money. You get good at what you care about.

@oakinwol because people are either going to be greedy in a free market, or they're going to be greedy in a top down government controlled market, and probably work for the government. Forcing people to stop being greedy isn't an option, people have tried that before, and the end result is always the most greedy people having the barrel of a government gun to force everyone else to give them money. I would rather live in a free market, where greedy people at least have to do something to satiate their greed, and can be punished for doing so outside of the law. The alternative is the greedy people ARE the law.

@SamuelLevant because causation doesn't equal correlation. The most powerful men in the world are also over 6 feet tall at a much, much higher rate than the overall population, to an even more extreme degree than Jewish representation among the wealthy elites, I don't see anyone making snarky comments about the tall person's club, or the tall men holding all the cards, and that's even more proportionately accurate than Jews holding disproportionate wealth and power.

@rcbryant10 so the Jews just say "hey, fellow Jew, let me give you money and power, because I too am a Jew!" because you say so, but the same thing doesn't happen with men over 6 feet tall, even though we can see from statistics that men over 6 feet tall are more disproportionately wealthy and powerful than Jews. Because that makes sense. Sounds like you're just looking for a Boogeyman to blame your problems on, the same as the leftists. You just have a different Boogeyman.

I genuinely wonder what's wrong with them, I think in the future, we're going to discover a physical difference in the brain of progressives, like an entire lobe of their brain is missing, or in the wrong place. There's something fundamentally wrong with them, when compared to regular people who can function in society
