One of the funniest things about modern politics to me is how easy it is to get leftists to be accidentally racist. I've turned it into sort of a game, like chess, but a lot more stupid. You just have to make 2 or 3 moves in the right direction and they'll trip over their own feet.

@harbl99 the best part is when they actually realize what they said, and recoil in horror. Can't get this on the internet, I've only witnessed this a handful of times with lefticles I've encountered in real life. Which is far more rare in real life than on the internet, because most of them only exist on the internet (almost as though there's a coordinated effort to make the movement seem a lot more widespread than it actually is)

@geomancer6894 they were the kids in high school who always wanted to keep up with the current fashions and trends, not because they actually liked any of those things, but just because of the social perception, they desperately want acceptance and to feel like part of "the group". And they never grew up.

@thorveim1174 communist is a little inaccurate, but he was a socialist. Communism is just the most common form of socialist authoritarianism, fascism and Nazism are pretty similar, the main difference is that they use socialism to achieve a military state rooted in tradition and law and order, whereas communism uses socialism to achieve an egalitarian society rooted in equity and progress. Obviously it doesn't work out in reality the way it's sold to it's followers on paper, but those are the differences in the ideological aspect.

@michaelharvey75 ask them why there are such great disparities in crime rates and poverty rates by race in the US. Obviously they'll just say "because racism", but when you challenge that by pointing out that African immigrants do not commit crimes at the same rate as black Americans, and also have a higher rate of getting out of poverty, then their response will be something akin to "black Americans just don't know any better", insinuating that they're not smart enough to not commit crimes and work their way out of poverty. Even though it's obviously not a racial thing, because people of the same race who came from a different culture do not have the same problems. That's just one example, pretty much any time you ask them to explain any kind of statistical difference between races, they go from "racism" immediately to some variation of "they just don't know any better."

But statista has a lot of tables that break things like this down, it's a little painstaking to really find what you're looking for, it's easier if you use something other than Google, Google prioritizes information that fits their preferred political agenda. Also worth noting this varies quite a bit depending on what African country people are migrating from, there are some nations that typically have the same problems as black Americans, and some that actually have some remarkably high success rates, Nigerian Americans in particular have one of the highest rates of education and wealth of any racial demographic in the US, typically 2nd generation. And when you look at all African immigrants, the rates are much higher than US born black Americans.

@sik3xploit yea in the end authoritarianism all turns out pretty much the same. But I still think it's important to understand the difference in the particular ideologies, so you have a better idea of the early warning signs. Although I may be wrong, because a lot of people saw the early warning signs of the current far left movement in the US, and were trying to sound the alarm. And nobody that needed to be listening was listening....

She's a perfect example of someone who's rich and famous without doing anything to be rich and famous. The exact kind of person leftists always say they hate, and like to pretend is representative of 100% of wealthy people. Except when it's someone who parrots their political beliefs, of course that person is ok. They're "one of the good ones".

Leftism is, always was, and always will be all about identity politics. They fought for slavery, they fought for segregation, and now they're trying to bring slavery and segregation back. The only "switch" in the Democrat party in the US is when they switched from overt racism to covert racism after the civil rights movement, being aggressively racist towards minority sorta went out of style, so they had to use reverse psychology to manipulate people who are stupid enough to vote democrat. Now they claim to be on the side of minorities while they actively kneecap them by giving them every excuse imaginable to underachieve. Any demographic of people would start to have declining success as a whole if society told them none of their problems are ever their fault, not because there's anything wrong with that group of people, but because some people are just weak willed, in any demographic. Not everyone will take those excuses and run, but some people will, and over time the average success rates of those people will decline.

@RinaRavyn yea and it's not much of a stretch to use the tactics and rhetoric of communism and make a couple of minor tweaks to target it more towards what the culture of Germany at the time was concerned about.

I love asking lefticles why diversity is a strength. It's hilarious. They can't give you an answer. They typically just dive right into attacks about you being a racist for simply asking a question, sometimes the more stubborn cult members will try to dance around and give a non-answer before they concede and just start calling you a racist. They never give an actual answer though, because there is no real answer.

@sik3xploit it depends, there's some pretty distinct levels to the leftist cult. The people at the top are damn well aware of what they're doing, and where the movement leads. The idiots they're manipulating have no idea, they're genuinely confused when you try to explain to them that grouping people by racial identity and telling them how to act and think based on that is racist, they think it's racist to treat people like people. Their brain has been taken out, disassembled, reassembled, and replaced. Upside down and backwards.

@sik3xploit it's honestly kinda weird how lefties always screech about Nazis being the "big bad", if you really look at Nazi Germany compared to current day leftism in the US, it's pretty damn close to the same thing, the only meaningful difference is the "in" groups and "out" groups in their racial identity hierarchy.
