This is kind of a double edged sword, because "hey stupid, don't have kids until you're ready, stupid" is generally a good message to send to young people, but we obviously turned the wheel too far in the other direction to where people aren't having kids at all. Also being "ready" is a pretty nebulous concept, it's definitely not a good idea to get pregnant in high school, but sometimes the best things that happen in our life happen when we don't feel like we're ready for them, sometimes you just have to jump into the deep end of the pool and get ready fast, out of necessity. If we waited until we felt like we were ready for everything, we would miss out on a lot.
