90% of the time someone says "debunked", what they really mean is "I found this one biased source that agrees with me, so this is true and everything else is fake."

@Vagabond_Etranger kids are far more likely to be abused by public school staff than by any church members or staff. That doesn't mean it's not a problem in the Catholic church, or in any church, it's a problem when anyone does it, but you're basically complaining about a campfire while the entire city is burning.

@jesuschristislord77733 they took the most outlandish claims and pretended like that was the entirety of the scandal, like the claims of them having Satan worshipping blood rituals and shit like that. They pushed all that to the front to make it seem like it was all crazy paranoia, and completely ignored the more important and more grounded parts, like the wealthy elites being involved in child trafficking, which we know now is absolutely 100% true.
