 @firingallcylinders2949 nobody even saw it, they just knew. Some grandma was miles away in Sicily when someone broke some spaghetti, she instantly stopped what she was doing and declared war.

@sjm9876 honestly I've always thought spaghetti was overrated. It's pasta, it all tastes the same, it's just in different shapes. Why would you use noodle that requires 2 utensils to eat properly, that doesn't hold any sauce, when you can just use penne or macaroni and use a spoon or a fork? Maybe this is my American talking, but I just prefer noodle shapes that aren't a pain in the ass.

It's like love, for those of you who don't believe in religion. You can't prove that you love your family, it's not tangible or quantifiable. But I'm sure you do love your family, and I would take you at your word if you say so. You don't have to prove it.

@viperking6573 like I said in an earlier comment, it's like love. You can't prove that you love someone with facts and logic, it's just something you feel. And you have to have faith. Enough faith that people get married and start families together. Nobody is always rational, all the time. You aren't supposed to be, you're supposed to be human.

@nocsiou there really is, and it's not just politics. Even sports, and movies, and dumb crap like that, most people don't have any interest in a back and forth discussion, they would rather all state the most hyperbolic "hot take" and then argue with everyone else in the comments about how their opinion is objectively correct, and everyone else is stupid.

@viperking6573 thank you, and I'm not even saying everyone has to believe it. I'm an atheist, I just don't see religion as silly and stupid like a lot of people seem to, I see it as a difference in opinion.
