"Bad faith" is a sneaky little trick I see them playing a lot lately, what that means in leftspeak is "I can't actually point to anything you said that's wrong or objectionable, so I'm going to question your motives instead."

@Mr_Joe_B_619 they always take everything to its most ridiculous extreme, and just assign that position to anyone they disagree with. I've seen the exact same thing you're talking about, you say something like "maybe we shouldn't be paying so much taxes in general", and their response is "hurr durr what about the roads and the schools, derpy derp???"

@rheinhartsilvento2576 and fallaciously throwing around accusations of fallacies. My favorite is how no leftist seems to understand what an ad hominem is, they think it just means a personal insult. Ad hominem is attacking the source instead of the content, it's often an insult, but an insult isn't necessarily an ad hom, and an ad hom doesn't have to be ugly or insulting. Every time they dismiss a source as "right wing propaganda", that's an ad hom. Which is absolutely every time something is pointed out that's inconvenient to their narrative. If a source is illegitimate, it shouldn't be hard to point to why it's illegitimate.

@antonioliles5027 you're exactly right, and on top of that the government just prints make believe funny money out of thin air whenever they need to bail themselves out, which just devalues the dollar and drives inflation. Barely any of our tax money ever finds it's way to anything any of us actually need.
