@rasj5822 totally normal, plenty of elections have had one candidate ahead by a million miles until a bunch of votes come in after midnight that lean 99% in favor of the other guy, but only in key counties that were needed to win key states. And we can't see those votes either, nothing to see here, totally normal stuff. 🤣🤣🤣

@nekad2000 you have to be able to make a subjective call, I get what you're saying if it's your neighbor or coworker who doesn't really engage that much and fell into the orange man bad bandwagon, sure, they deserve a second chance. But Ana and TYT have been engaging in this disgusting propaganda for years now, I don't believe for a second that she's genuinely turned over a new leaf and is ready to be honest and humble. Hell no. People like her and Cenk should never be trusted, they're pure evil, down to the most basic molecular level. You point and laugh at them, and you never allow them close enough to your personal life that they can have any direct impact. That's what you do with those creatures. They're not welcome anywhere near me or my family.

@did_I_hurt_you_feefees I disagree. I understand the sentiment, I think there should be a path to redemption for people who see that they've made a mistake, and want to correct course. But only to an extent. Ana and TYT didn't make a mistake. They built an entire empire on lies, and encouraging violence from their already unstable audience. There's no redemption for them.

@frishter I never said you couldn't welcome people in general, I've been as clear as humanly possible about this. I'm just saying you shouldn't just blindly accept all apologies, you need to use some level of judgement and discretion. How many times does someone have to stab you in the back before you recognize it's a pattern?

@did_I_hurt_you_feefees it's very frustrating how the people in these comments are acting like the only possible positions you can have are "always forgive everyone, no matter what", or "never forgive anyone, no matter what", no matter how clear you try to be, they just decide you're the opposite position as them. I'm not saying you should never offer forgiveness, I'm only saying some people don't deserve it. And TYT fits into the irredeemable category about as completely as any humans possibly can.

Yea but they're not calling it out because they were wrong, they're reversing course because they can see the left is losing. They're still scumbags through and through, all leftists. They will never do the right thing because it's the right thing to do, these are people with no morals, no integrity, and no principles. The only thing a leftist cares about is personal gain. If they're ever honest, or do the right thing, it's only because it's the most advantageous path in that moment.

@mykemech I don't think we should offer forgiveness to everyone who wants it. I'm just saying you have to make a judgement call. If someone was wrong about something and realizes it, sure, by all means, they should be offered an olive branch. But Ana and TYT went far beyond that, they encouraged political violence for years, they clapped and cheered for all the riots, they tried to ruin the lives of people like Kyle Rittenhouse just for defending himself, they were damn well aware of what they were doing, for a very long time. They do not deserve another chance.

@did_I_hurt_you_feefees yea and I thought one of the core components of conservatism is that we're supposed to be able to make subjective judgements like that, we're not idealogues like the left, we can look at 2 similar situations with some different circumstances and come to different conclusions. You don't have to always forgive everyone, or never forgive anyone, you're supposed to use your own judgement and forgive people you think deserve forgiveness, but not everyone. There's a line. If people were arguing that they think Ana deserves forgiveness, sure, I disagree, but if you make that judgement, that's up to you. But they're arguing that we should automatically forgive her and every lefty if they ask for forgiveness, no, I'm just not on board with that. I'll forgive someone who voted for Biden because they listened to all the media propaganda, but they've seen they were wrong. I will not forgive the figurehead of a left wing extremist media company, who has spent years and years encouraging violence.

You just gotta be able to discern the difference between legitimate repentance, and realizing they were genuinely wrong, and someone who's just temporarily shamed and wants some sympathy. It's like dealing with an addict, everyone is sorry the day after they got all wasted and did a bunch of stupid shit, but at a certain point you have to recognize the pattern and realize being sympathetic towards them doesn't help anything.
