What part is the problem? People used to get married and have kids when they were 17 or 18 all the time, it was normal. And they didn't divorce at nearly the rate people divorce now, we didn't have an epidemic of single parent households and young men growing up without a male role model, and young women growing up without discipline or self respect. That's new. All of that started to become a widespread problem with the emergence of feminism and sexual liberation. Go ahead and hate my opinion if you want, the data is all there.

Logic and consistent reasoning never got in the way of communists making people pay money for things they don't want.

@yep33whalesbebig60 we've already been giving free handouts to "marginalized" communities for decades, how's that working out? The income gap between black and white Americans has only widened since we implemented welfare, and it was shrinking in the years between desegregation and the introduction of the welfare state. What's that tell ya, little fella? Welfare hurts minorities. It was designed that way, this was part of the Democrat's plan to keep black Americans as second class citizens. And dopes like you support it with a smile on your face, while calling everyone else racist.

@LuisSanchez-xc9ih "marginalized" to a leftist means "I don't have as much stuff as I want, so gimme more stuff, because it's someone else's fault I don't have enough stuff."

They did have Japanese internment camps during WW2 though, considerably more recently than slavery was abolished. I don't see anyone whining about Japanese Americans getting reparations, some of those people are still alive, a lot of their kids are. Also funny how Japanese Americans are doing just fine now, 2 generations after the atrocities done to them during the war. Slavery was what, 5 generations ago? Wonder why black Americans still can't get their shit together......🤔
