This is the problem with censorship, whenever you suppress conflicting information, you can convince a certain personality type of anything.

Technology has made too many things too easy. We have to actually use our mind and solve problems less and less the more we invent things to do it for us. Some people still know how to think and solve problems. But it's no longer necessary for survival.

I've always thought it was amazing that "reality has a liberal bias" ever became a common phrase, because it couldn't be further from the truth. Conservatism at its core is seeing the world in an honest and realistic way and forming your views accordingly. Liberalism at its core is seeing the world the way you want it to be, and trying to conform reality to that.

They do a somewhat clever bait and switch, that I think most people don't even realize. A Republic is technically a type of Democracy, it's not the same as Direct Democracy, but any government elected by the people is under the greater umbrella of Democracy. But they don't mean the umbrella term, they mean direct democracy. They're just trying to obfuscate the terms so they can avoid a real discussion and just argue over definitions instead.

Every night you can see her scrolling on the horizon.... Forever scrolling, cursed to look for nothing for all eternity. It's the terminal stage of TDS, stage 49.

@bigguy7353 it's still extremely dishonest how democrats and leftists will intentionally obfuscate the terms though. The same way they always just say "immigrants", they're trying to blur the distinction between legal and illegal.

@lli747 a lot of it is definitely fake. Not even LM necessarily, Democrats also pay people to act like a lunatic and say insanely extreme ridiculous things. By going as far to one side as possible, you can subtly make middle ground moderates shift towards your side.

Google and wiki are excellent sources for information, anything that's remotely subjective, you can pretty accurately assume whichever direction they're trying to sway you is the wrong direction, and the opposite is really more true.
