Scott Adkins has been making great action movies for years, even with a smaller budget than the movies all the other stars you mentioned have.

@davidjob4909 he doesn't make movies to appeal to a broad audience and make as much money as possible, he makes movies for his audience. That's what separates Adkins from the rest.

@fr0ck360 Accident Man: Hitman's Holiday came out in '22, it's freaking amazing, one of the best sequels you'll ever see, and one of my favorite movies from last year. It's just as bat shit and over the top as the first one.

@thant0s yea that was disappointing and awesome at the same time, when I heard he was in John Wick 4 I was stoked, I thought that could be his sort of coming into the mainstream. But then when I saw he was in a fat suit, with a German accent, because.... Reasons? Lol. A little disappointing, he was barely even recognizable. But at the same time, it was an awesome and hilarious Easter egg for his fans.

@thant0s the hilarious part is that's probably the most he's ever made for a movie, either that or Dr. Strange, which he was also barely in. So you really can't blame him, he busts his ass in the movies he stars in and helps behind the camera with too, for far less money, I'm sure he gets beat the fuck up doing those movies. Having a supporting role in a major budget blockbuster is probably a nice vacation for him.

There's a movie called "One Shot", starting Scott Adkins and Ryan Philippe, the entire movie is one continuous shot. Thus the name. It's pretty freaking wild, especially considering it's pretty action packed, surely everything didn't go as planned on the one shot they took, so I'm assuming they just kinda did it paintball style. Like ok these are blanks, don't shoot the main actors, and if you get shot play dead. Have fun.

@tom-u8k6y ya know, I know this is an unpopular opinion, but Boyka and the Undisputed movies actually aren't my favorite of his. They're all really good, I would put them near the top, but my favorites are Debt Collector, Accident Man, both of their sequels, Ninja 2, and Avengement.

@tom-u8k6y yea you definitely should, Debt Collector is a sort of buddy comedy with lots of ass kicking, thinking Rush Hour but more emphasis on the martial arts and less humor, but it definitely has both. Not the most action packed of his movies, but imo one of the best overall movies, him and Louis Mandylor really play off each other excellently, both comedically and with the fighting. And Accident Man is also pretty funny, but doesn't pull any punches with the action, lots of really bloody, brutal fight scenes.

I just watched the first movie the other day, honestly I'm not that interested in the 2nd just because the volume was so bad, without subtitles I would have had no idea what was going on. They had all the effects turned up to 11 and the dialogue completely muted.

@toolegittoquit_001 it's obviously not the first thing I'm looking for, but it was just really off putting how bad it was. I might as well have just muted it.
