  11. I think the main reason 65 was so poorly recieved was misleading marketing, the trailer made it seem like a badass dinosaur action bomb, but it was really more of a suspenseful survival movie. It wasn't bad, but it also wasn't what I wanted to see when I saw it.

If I accuse you of stealing, and it's proven in court not only to be false, but that I knew it was false, then I'm convicted and sentenced the same as if I was found guilty of theft. Same for all accusations.

I love Secret Life of Pets, but I was also kinda disappointed, just because the trailer made it seem like it was gonna be more focused on all of the pets and what they do during the day, it was more of "journey home" movie mostly centered around Max and Duke. Which was great, just wasn't exactly what I thought it was gonna be. Poor marketing I guess.

I've always thought "overacting" was kind of a weird term when it comes to acting, because I think we've all known a few people in our real lives that are just a little over the top, pretty much all the time. So it's not like Nicolas Cage is playing a character that wouldn't exist in real life, he's just playing a crazy person. Those exist.

I love how you guys act like ghosts or proof of the afterlife would be the end of arguments over religion and stuff like that, if ghosts showed up today, religious people would see it as proof of their religion, and atheists would see it as proof of a reasonable explanation.   26. Kevin Costner's baseball classics could be included on this, Field of Dreams, Bull Durham, and For Love of the Game. He plays evolving characters in a way too, from just a regular guy with a love for baseball in Field of Dreams, to a minor league veteran chasing the homerun record, sort of "the best of the worst" kind of record in Bull Durham, to an accomplished major league veteran contemplating his life and legacy in For Love of the Game.

That's why most franchises get tired, and less scary as time goes on, we just know too much about Michael Myers at this point, he's not as scary as he was when there was still the aura of mystery.

Honestly I think that's her game, she knows she's not that funny or talented, so she just says the stupidest shit possible on purpose, to get negative publicity and whatever support she can get from the minority of people who are dumb enough to agree with her. It's actually kinda clever if you think about it. She can't be an A-lister, but by being as unlikable as possible, she can at least be a C-lister instead of not famous at all.

  43. American History X is pretty traumatizing to me. It deals with extremely delicate subject matter to begin with, gives you a redemption arc, and then drops you off the tenth floor rooftop in an instant.

  46. Back to the Future 2 also deserves a "close enough" for predicting the Cubs winning the World Series in 2015, even though it was actually 2016 when they won. But considering it was their first win since 1908, that definitely grants a "close enough", because that was the joke. Making that prediction in 1989 was pretty ridiculous. And they were also playing against Miami, several years before the Florida Marlins became a franchise. And they couldn't play in the World Series, since the Marlins and Cubs are both NL teams, so the fictional Miami team from the movie was presumably in the AL. But again..... Close enough.

My favorite is from Zoolander, in the cemetery scene where David Duchovny makes a cameo, and Zoolander asks him "but why male models?", he goes into a whole explanation about how male models and actors have always been used for psyops, and Zoolander's response is "but why male models?" There was actually another line Ben Stiller was supposed to say, but he forgot or had a brain fart and just repeated the last line he had said. And Duchovny just rolled with it and delivered the famous "are you serious?..." Line. I guess Ben Stiller was extremely committed to his role as an idiot.
