@tvirus9369 big difference between remaking a movie from when cinematography was in it's infancy, and modernizing it for completely different generations of audiences, and making a pointless reboot of a movie a couple of years later as a shameless cash grab. You act like the fact that there was an older version than the Fraser series is some top secret knowledge that only you and a precious few people have access to.

I love how a white actor playing a non white character is horrible, but when a non white actor plays a white character that's fine, and if you don't like it you're horrible.

To all the fedora tippers pointing out that the Brendan Fraser Mummy was a remake, yea no shit geniuses, but there's a big difference between remaking a movie from several decades ago when cinematic technology was light years from where we are now, and making a pointless cash grab remake a few years later when nothing has really changed significantly.

@pabloruiz6224 I even like the first 3 Scorpion King sequels without Dwayne Johnson. They're dumb as hell and not exactly cinematic masterpieces, but they're fun and entertaining.
