It's pretty crazy, I remember when "the internet" was just a thing that was on your PC, in one room of the house, and you only used it sparingly because there was only one line in the house. I couldn't have even imagined it being used all the time, and connected to absolutely everything. It's actually kinda scary, if the internet just stopped working one day, our entire society would just stop.
