 @BasedJones98 Yea that's why I could never get into Creed, or Staind, or any number of other groups with the same vocal style. It sounds so fake, and forced.

@kidferocious my brother over here, I didn't mention everyone included in that category for the sake of expediency, but YEEEEES, you couldn't be more correct, I can't stand Nirvana or Pearl Jam for the exact same reason. Such fake vocals, it's so obvious they're going for a "sound" instead of making genuine music. Nirvana is my #1 least favorite band ever, I think they're absolute trash, their music makes my teeth and toenails hurt, it's soooo bad.

@kidferocious I would also add Red Hot Chili Peppers, although in Keidas' defense, he could legitimately have been so high and drunk for the last 30 years that he isn't being fake on purpose, he doesn't really know what reality is anymore. But I still think his voice sucks.

I've always thought James Hetfield was way overrated, Metallica is fine musically, but he's just kinda mid. You could just throw a dart at a board with a thousand metal bands written on it and probably hit a better vocalist.

@LucienSabre I'm not really huge fan myself, they have some good songs. But just because you don't like them doesn't mean nobody likes them, a whoooole lot of people do. To me they were just a gateway for me discovering better metal when I was a teenager, so I'll always have a nostalgic soft spot because of that.

@LucienSabre a few years ago I may have agreed with you, but they've come back strong, as has been pointed out already, they had a massively successful tour this past year. You're just wrong on this one buddy, take the L.
